Emadean and Joe French of Maydelle recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married Feb. 9, 1957, in Rusk. Their children include Doug and Paula French, Dale and Sarah French and Deanna Cox. Grandchildren are Brandon, Ashley, Brittany, Robert and Katy.
