The Eagle golf team placed 2nd in district and qualified for the regional meet to be held in Brenham on April 25-26. The team shot a score of 352 in the first round, then shot a 2nd round score of 338 to qualify for regionals. Team members and 2nd-round scores for Rusk are (from left): Brandon Downs (88), Koid Dyess (5th qualifier), Brent Jones (77), Coach Wayne Mahaffey, Cord Stover (89) and Pax Richey (84)
