The engagement of Carol Ann Temple Morris of North Canton, Ohio, formerly of Rusk and Jacksonville and Michael Lynn Slates of Carrollton, Ohio, has been announced. Ms. Morris is the daughter of Carolyn and George Samko of North Canton. Mr. Slates is the son of Ronald and Oneida Slates of Carrollton. The couple will be married June 7 at The Cantebury Chapel in North Canton with the Rev. Fred Bosnakovic officiating. She is a 1984 Jacksonville High School graduate and he is a 1981 Carrollton High School graduate. Both are employed at Canton Drop Forge.
