The Cherokee County Sheriff's Department investigators discovered 31 pounds of high-quality marijuana on a plane at the Cherokee County Airport on June 12. The estimated street value of the "popcorn" marijuana is $155,000. The K-9, Ron, was called in to inspect the plane suspected of holding drugs. The man arrested and arraigned for possession of marijuana and possesion of a controlled substance was Rodney K. Dotson, of Baton Rouge, La.
