Robert Gonzalez of Whitehead Enterprises, left, receives a certification of appreciation from Rotary Club President Roy Reynolds. The certification was presented to Mr. Gonzalez in appreciation of his efforts promoting the July 4 celebration in Rusk. Whitehead Enterprises was a sponsor of the event. Representatives of the Rotary Club appeared on Talk Time several times prior to July 4 and a number of stories concerning the event appeared in the newspaper.
