Attending a recent Heritage Center of Cherokee County board meeting to work on plans for the upcoming gala celebration recently were from left, Connie Catalani, photographer and auction strategist; Stephanie Caveness; Janet Gregg, director of marketing for the Texas State Railroad and the heritage center; Betty Marcontell, who is in charge of computers and the facebook coordinator; Rachel Loden, food and décor coordinator. All but Ms. Catalani are members of the museum's board of directors. The gala committee is composed of those pictured and Jane Parsons, Dr. Deborah Burkett, Deleigh Haley, Jayanna Davis, Jeannie Swink, Michelle Filer, Susan Richey, Diane West, Margaret Perkins and Leilani Sales. In addition to those mentioned the board of directors of the museum includes Jim Cromwell, Kevin Gentry, Kevin Stingley and Don Woodard.
