2 Cherokee Co. men die in separate accidents

PHOTO: TARA CROSBY k Billy Dean Sunday, 74, was killed in a one-vehicle incident at approximately 10 p.m. Friday on CR 1201, Moon City Road, just outside of Rusk. Department of Public Safety trooper Steven Crosby said Mr. Sunday apparently got stuck in a drainage ditch while making a U-turn. The vehicle caught the grass on fire, which engulfed the vehicle. Autopsy results are pending. The Rusk Volunteer Fire Department extinguished the fire.
