PHOTOS: QUINTEN BOYD A small backhoe smooths out a layer of asphalt on U.S. Highway 69. TxDOT Public Information Officer Larry Krantz said that the seal coating project would cover 230 miles over eight counties within the Tyler district before the end of August. He also said that the process will add seven years of near maintenance-free life to the roadway.
