Drug bust sends Rusk man to county jail

k Approximately $11,000 in cash, 19 grams of what is believed to be marijuana and over four grams of a substance that appeared to be methadone were confiscated last Thursday from a room at the Weston Inn and Suites in Rusk. Cherokee County Sheriff's deputies arrested 38-year-old Christopher McAlister, charging him with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
