RISD primary drop-off route

Instructions for child drop-off /pick-up at the Rusk Primary School have been released. Additional property adjacent to the school has been purchased to add more parking space and provide the extended drive. Parents are asked to Enter Collins Street from the loop (police will have the north end of Collins Street blocked off). Turn left into the school drive. The left hand lane is for parking only Right hand lane is for drop off/pick up. School staff will greet children and help them out of cars in the morning and safely put them into cars after school. For drop off/pick up, pull down to the farthest available spot in front of the school. (There are 7 spots). After the drop off/pick up, continue following the drive around the school and exit onto loop. The right hand exit lane is for right hand turns only, left hand exit lane for left hand exits only. All traffic on Rusk Primary School drive will be one way only. For additional information call the school office at (903) 683-6106.
