A brick building on U.S. Highway 69 in Rusk was demolished Tuesday morning to make room for a new $1 million 5,185 sq. ft. Fat Dog beer and wine store. The 1.638 acre tract was purchased through Mike McEwen, trustee, from Rusk Church on the Hill, by Bratton-Fair Enterprises. Bratton-Fair Enterprises are the owners of Majestic Fine Wines and Spirits of Fort Worth. The Fat Dog business is expected to open in Rusk in December.
