Log truck rollover

A Thursday afternoon accident left several tons of freshly cut timber on the side of U.S. Highway 69 N, about 100 yards south of Seven Mile Hill. The accident occurred as the truck was making a u-turn from U.S. Highway 69 S onto U.S. Highway 69 N. Authorities believe a cracked axle on the trailer caused the logging truck to tip over, spilling the logs. Michael McCormack of Alto was listed as the driver of the truck.
