Lucky Day for Relay

Terry Guinn and Flossie Nixson were among Saint Patrick's Day diners Monday at county restaurants participating in the Lucky Day for Relay. Restaurant owners gave a portion of their profits for the Relay for Life's fight against cancer. Mr. Guinn and Mrs. Nixson were customers at Sweet Shoppe Rock in Rusk. Other Rusk restaurants participating were the Daily Grind, Dairy Queen, Lunch Sak, Sonic, Subway and Whataburger. These restaurants joined restaurants, Subway at Alto; Hondo  Shorty's Burger Place and Dairy Queen at Bullard; The Olde Store at Gallatin; Adolfo's Pizza, Beverly's Country Cafe, Dairy Queen, King's Wok, Larissa House by reservations only, Legends Old Time Burger Cafe, Sonic, Whataburger, Pasaditos and Coffee Connection on Main Street; and Striker Lakeside resident at Reklaw. More than $2,000 was raised through the county restaurants to benefit Relay for Life.
