Two men were injured when a GMC pickup, driven by Robert Montgomery of Rusk, collided with a Dodge Ram on U.S. Highway 84 Friday at approximately 10:30 a.m. Troopers said Mr. Montgomery passed out behind the wheel and veered onto the shoulder, where his vehicle first struck Curtis Tyler of Orange, then the Dodge truck. Mr. Tyler was airlifted to ETMC-Tyler. Mr. Montgomery was treated and released. The driver of the Dodge Ram, Johnny Merchant of Madisonville, was uninjured. Trooper Butch Fulton investigated.
