JayAnna Magruder, bride-elect of Caleb Byrd, was honored with a bridal shower brunch Dec. 5 at the home of Chris Karen Vaught. Guests were greeted by from left, Joann Jackson Creel, the honoree's grandmother; Melanie Essex, sister of groom-to-be; Judy Magruder, mother of the bride-elect; Miss Magruder; Bonnie Magruder, her grandmother; and Jenny and Jordan Magruder, the honoree's sisters. The refreshment table was covered with classic white lace cloths. Guests were severed quiche, pound cake with a warm fruit compote and sherbet punch.
