Deputy Sheriff Ray Bouman received shoulder injuries at 5:40 p.m. Thursday after he skidded his patrol car off FM 2138, south of FM1911, south of Jacksonville. Sheriff James Campbell said Deputy Bouman was driving in the rain when his vehicle skidded off the left side of road, striking several trees. He was taken to East Texas Medical Center Jacksonville, treated and released. The vehicle received heavy damages.
