The Cat in The Hat celebrated his birthday at Singletary Memorial Library recently with a surprise party at story time. Youngsters were read "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss. They enjoyed a picnic lunch followed with a chocolate birthday cake. Story time is every Thursday at 11:15 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend, even the young at heart.
