Watermelon seed spitting contest and stick horse race winners were announced July 16, as one of the final events of the 48th Annual Tops In Texas Rodeo Western Week activities in Jacksonville. Watermelon seed spitting winners are first place, Hayden Thompson and second place, Jaydon Sublett in the two to five age group; and in the six to 13 age category, first place winner was Cody Barksdale and second place, Lindsay Johnston. Stick horse winners in the two to five age category were first place, Hayden Thompson and second place, Jaden Franklin. Lindsay Johnston won first place and Zaaniva Price, second place in the six to 13 age category.
