Terry Guinn was honored Aug. 24 for 30 years of service as a member of the Cherokee County Historical Commission. Mr. Guinn, center, is now commission chairman. He replaced the late Gene Gregg Myers on the historical commission in August 1980. At left is County Judge Chris Davis, who presented Mr. Guinn with a county 30 year certificate and pin. At right is historical commission vice-chairman Elizabeth McCutcheon, who presented a plaque to the honoree.
