The 8th Annual Street Sweets will be held on Commerce Street in downtown Jacksonville Friday, Oct. 29 (rain or shine). The area from under the overpass to Bolton Street will be blocked. Downtown businesses as well as other businesses will distribute candy from 5:30- 7 p.m. In the event of rain the event will be moved inside the Norman Activity Center, 526 E. Commerce. Businesses will bring a table, chairs and lots of candy and set up on Commerce Street. Street Sweets is sponsored by the Retail Association of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.
