Police academy graduates

Kilgore College's East Texas Police Academy graduated seven locally sponsored class members Friday, Nov. 12 at the Rusk Civic Center. All seven students received their basic peace officer's certification, before testing for their state licenses on Nov. 13. They received 640 hours of training and had to maintain an 80 percent grade average to become certified.
