Jacksonville's West Side Elementary principal Sandi Jones looks on as the 2010 National Blue Ribbon School flag is hoisted up the flag pole during a special celebration on Nov. 22. The school was recognized by the United States Department of Education. West Side Elementary will retain the designation and fly the commemorative flag for five years.
