The engagement of Kenzie Lauren Powell and Michael Joe Bixler has been announced. The couple will be married May 7 at the Elmwood Gardens in Palestine. Miss Powell is the daughter of Jerry and Debbie Powell of Hickory Grove Farm at Slocum. Mr. Bixler is the son of Joe and Donna Bixler of Jacksonville.
