New fire hydrant

l Rusk Public Works Department crews replace a defunct fire hydrant at the corner of Henderson and Lone Oak streets last week. Public Works Director Thomas Thompson said that hydrant did not work and needed to be replaced. City workers have also replaced two other hydrants on Main Street. These projects are part of the city's on-going efforts to upgrade and maintain the city's utility infrastructure.
