Printing ‘dinosaurs’ on the move

A 1919 Miehle sheet-fed press weighing 24,000 pounds was removed from the Alto Herald building Aug. 3. The old printing equipment is moving to Waco where Alto's history will be on public display at a printing museum curated by the Waco Tribune- Herald. Officials hope to hold a ribbon cutting in 2012.
