Kara Butcher and Nicholas McIntyre have announced their engagement. They will be married Oct. 15 at the First Church on the Hill. Miss Butcher is the daughter of Sandra and Larry Butcher of Rusk and Mr. McIntyre is the son of Dennis Jr. and Rhonda McIntyre, also of Rusk.
