Tracy and Melanie Parker of Alto and Carl and Debbie Stanford of Grand Saline announce the engagement of their children, Selena Brianne Parker and Chris J. Weaver. Miss Parker is the granddaughter of Billy and Lou Cates of Alto. She attends Tyler Junior College. Mr. Weaver is employed at Griffin Products at Wills Point. They will be married at 8 p.m. Oct. 15 at Elmwood Gardens near Palestine. They will reside in Grand Saline.
