POW/ MIA Recognition Day

The VFW Post 3406 and the Ladies Auxiliary hosted a ceremony Sept. 19 at the the VFW Post in observance of POW/MIA National Recognition Day. Charles McCullough was the speaker for the event. This day is set aside to remember prisoners of war and those missing in action. Betty Townsend was recognized as a Gold Star Mother at the event. Participants included from left Kim Nickle, Bobbye Burroughs, Post Commander Emerson Griffin, Ladies Auxiliary President Belle Matlock, Charles McCullough, Mrs. Townsend, Randy Balough and Bettie Pounds. Pam Wallace is not pictured.
