Rusk Rural Water Corporation is currently constructing a new, 120 ft. tall gravity-fed standpipe near their current standpipe. The newest standpipe will hold approximately 204,000 gallons of water for Rusk Rural Water customers. Fill manager Mike Hamilton said the $400,000 project, which will construct the new standpipe and refurbish the older pipe, will be finished by around Christmas, depending on the weather.
