The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce Businessman and Businesswoman of the Year awards were presented at noon Monday at the Norman Activity Center. Sandy Minter, left, received the Businesswoman of the Year award from last year's recipient Jean Bearden. Dr. Edwin Crank's award was presented by Father Mark Kusmirek, right. Mrs. Minter, the owner/president of Global Fabricators Inc., is involved in various community activities including being president-elect of the Jacksonville Kiwanis Club. Dr. Crank is president of Jacksonville College.
