Tyler Junior College-Rusk nursing program students met and greeted Relay for Life supporters at the Singletary Memorial Library in Rusk during Purple Ribbon Day Friday, March 25. Across Cherokee County Purple Ribbon Day helped raise funds for the local Relay for Life event, scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Friday, April 29, at Mauldin Field at Jacksonville High School.
