These first grade students at East Side Elementary are only five of the 93 students who were awarded certificates for bringing up their grades during the last six weeks'awards presentation sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Jacksonville. Students are from left, Cesar Solache, Maddie McDaniel, Laura Simpson, Maecy Smith and Cash Bearden. Kiwanians are Janie Hale, Sandy Minter and Judy Batton.
