Students at the Cherokee County Juvenile Services in Jacksonville are learning firsthand the satisfaction of reaping the work of their hands and giving to others through their "Victory for HOPE" garden. Landowner Casey Beach (right) donated land which CCJS program participants cultivated, tended and are sharing with those in need. HOPE director Allison Hale (left) cut the ribbon June 4 at the garden's dedication ceremony, looking forward to the fresh vegetables which will be added to their soup kitchen menu.
