TDCJ assists Rusk ISD with clean- up, fix- up chores

l TDCJ inmates from the Rusk Skyview-Hodge units are busy making repairs and painting playground equipment at Rusk Elementary School. They have trimmed trees and painted classrooms in addition to the playground work at the elementary school. Also, the inmates have re-striped the high school parking lot and trimmed hedges at the high school. Warden Tommie Haynes, TDCJ employees and the work squad assist schools throughout the county each summer. Area schools will open in late August.
