Rusk Eagles look to fly high for 2012 in new district

l David Overstreet and the Rusk Eagles hope to start a new playoff streak as they move to District 19-3A. Dave Campbell's Texas Football picked the Eagles third this season, behind Palestine and Fairfield and ahead of Mexia and Groesbeck. The Eagles take the field for the first time in the regular season Aug. 31 at home against Terrell. Rusk will scrimmage Diboll at Eagle Stadium Aug. 18 and travel to Tatum for a scrimmage Aug. 23.
