Indians hope for return to playoffs in new district

Dave Campbell's Texas Football picked the Indians fourth, behind John Tyler, Corsicana and Whitehouse and ahead of Lindale and Nacogdoches. The Indians open the regular season on the road Aug. 31 at Carthage before opening their home schedule Sept. 7 against Palestine. Jacksonville will scrimmage twice on the road: Aug. 17 at Mabank and Aug. 23 at Bullard.
