k It was homecoming night in Rusk and Coy Combs of Palestine and J.R. McKenzie of Oakwood, were designated homecoming king and queen at the fourth Friday dance, Sept. 27. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the Oct. 4 First Friday dance. Live music by the Caddo Creek Band will be from 7 - 10 p.m. Cost is $5. Proceeds benefit the Singletary Memorial Library.
