Elizabeth Cahalane and Lori Bayless Pre-K class recently enjoyed a class field trip. This outing is one of several the children enjoy every year. Pre-registration for Rusk Head Start, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten is set for Friday, May 3 from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m. Age requirements must be met by Sept. 1. Cherokee County Health Department will be available during enrollment from 8 a.m. to noon to give shots to eligible children through the TVFC program. This registration is held to ensure that a sufficient number of classes can be planned for the coming school year. The school must have 80 students pre-enroll to keep Pre-K classes as currently held on the primary school campus. Information is available by calling (903) 683-6106.
