l A crowd of approximately 50 people gathered Monday afternoon for the dedication of the Stacy D. Hunter Recreation Center. In April, the Jacksonville City Council took action to name the newly-reacquired building in honor of Mr. Hunter, who was an employee of the City for nearly two decades. Mr. Hunter was killed in October 2012 during a dispute at a local nightclub he owned and operated. The recreation center will be available to the public, Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m.
