War for love: RISD penny wars raise funds for Guess family

The second period classes of Sheri Whiteside and Lynn Ward were the winners of the Rusk High School penny wars, which were set up to raise money for Mick and Patricia Guess. Mrs. Guess was diagnosed with cancer, and the penny wars were set up to help the family. The wars ended up raising more than $4,300 for the Guess family.
