More than 30 children participated in the Rube Sessions Memorial Library's Summer Reading Program first week. Presenter was Betsy Weathers from Alto who brought two of her horses, a Clydesdale and a Pony of America. She discussed horses, their care and how to ride them. The children rode horses around the parking lot, made a craft and had refreshments. The children are reading new books purchased with Dollar General grant funds as well as other favorites.
