Mr. and Mrs. Mary and David Mock of Burleson, near Dallas, were married on a 224 ton iron horse at the Palestine Depot of the Texas State Railroad Saturday, July 6. The couple tied the knot in the cab of the historic Texas & Pacific 610, the sole surviving example of the earliest form of the super-power steam engine locomotives built by Lima Locomotive Works in 1927. The 610 is now a part of the Texas State Railroad's rolling stock. The groom's father worked for Texas & Pacific in the early '60s as a telegraph operator from Fort Worth to El Paso. The family are enthusiastic railfans.
