Rusk Business of the Month award was presented to the Cherokeean Herald for the month of April. From left are Bob Goldsberry, Loretta Springer, Charles Hassell, LaRetta Brittain, Tim Samson, Jaleea Hudnall, Larry Long, Janice Crosby Stone, Jan Pate, Connie Parsons and Robert Gonzalez. The award was accepted by Mr. Gonzalez, who gave the visitors a tour of the Cherokeean Herald building. The table in the front is the original printer stone used by the newspaper for many years. It is believed to have been used by Gov. Jim Hogg during his years working at the newspaper.
