Among the those attending the April 28 memorial dedication for the Rusk Lions Club Baseball field were Lions Club President Sam Morino, Mayor Angela Raiborn, Ike Daniel, Vic Whadford and Billy Watson. Also representing the Lions Club was Jim Netters. More than 100 attended the ceremony. Two new baseball fields are being constructed on the site on Euclid Street. The first field was built in 1955. Other fields in the complex include the Stovall Little League Field, the Dickinson Field for Pony League boys and the Francis Townsend Field for girls.
