65th anniversary

Ernest D. and Evileen Keels will celebrate 65 years of marriage at an anniversary party from 2-4 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Cherokee Trails Rehab and Care Center, 330 Bagley Road in Rusk. They were married Aug. 1, 1948, at the First Baptist Church in Rusk. They both retired from Rusk State Hospital after 30 years of service. They are members of the Alto Missionary Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to attend the reception. In lieu of gifts, friends are asked to share a written story, memory or thought of the couple.
