Mr. and Mrs. Mark Knowles of Groves announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Laura Ashley, to Jordan Baxter Grindle, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Grindle of Douglass. The wedding will be Saturday, May 31 in Groves. Miss Knowles is a graduate of Groves High School and attends Texas Bible College in Lufkin. Mr. Grindle is a graduate of Douglass High School and Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a licensed real estate agent with Navarro Realty and is the new pastor at the Calvary Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Alto.
