l JayAnna Byrd received her doctorate of optometry on May 10 after graduating summa cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry. JayAnna is a 2007 Rusk High School Graduate and previously received her Bachelors degree in Science from the University of Houston. She is married to Caleb Byrd and is the daughter of Jamie and Judy Magruder of Rusk and the daughter-in-law of Danny and Brenda Byrd of Maydelle. She is also the granddaughter of Joann Jackson Creel of Rusk and Bonnie Magruder of Alto.
