Employee division Kickoff for United Fund of Cherokee County was at noon Thursday at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Jacksonville. From left are Dr. Mike Smith, president of Jacksonville College, who was the featured speaker; Nancy Washburn, United Fund president; Allison Hale, employee division chairman; and Paul Travis, campaign chairman. Dr. Smith addressed the group on the importance and effectiveness of volunteering.
