During a recent Alto High School pep rally, the Alto cheerleaders helped AISD superintendent Kerry Birdwell undergo the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Mr. Birdwell spoke to students, reminding them to be thankful for their health. The challenge is designed to raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
