Dan Ferguson, center, has been promoted to captain of correctional officers on the Skyview-Hodge Complex effective Jan. 15. Capt. Ferguson first began his career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Correctional Officer at the George Beto Unit in November 1985. He transferred to the Skyview Unit in August 1988. He retired as a major from TDCJ from the Beto Training Academy in August 2006. In November 2006, he returned as a correctional officer at Skyview-Hodge Complex. He was promoted to lieutenant of correctional officers at Skyview-Hodge in December 2012. From left are Warden David M. Blackwell, Capt. Ferguson and Major Amahdrick Christopher.
